1.Use A Cuticle Oil

The secret to growing your best nails is: hydration, hydration, hydration. To have strong nails, they need to be healthy – and to be healthy, they need to be hydrated. Cuticle oil works by hydrating the cuticle and nail bed, which is why it's such an important step in nail care, whether you're growing your nails or simply want them to look their best.

2. Take biotin

Biotin is an important type of B vitamin that is highly recommended as a supplement to help boost the strength of hair and nails. Biotin can be found naturally in:

  • mushrooms

  • whole grains

  • brewer’s yeast

  • cooked eggs

  • sardines

  • nuts and nut butters

  • soy and other beans

  • cauliflower

  • bananas

3. Avoid toxic nail polishes

These can weaken real nails and make them more prone to breaking. The better option is to paint your nails with nail polishes that have little or no toxic chemicals.

4. Nail grooming

Regular nail grooming can also help boost the strength of your nails, encouraging growth and reducing breakage.

Keep your nails dry and clean, so bacteria doesn't grow.

Moisturizing your hands and nails with a lotion, rub the cream into your fingernails, especially at the cuticles.

Avoid nail biting.

5. Change your diet

Plenty of nutrients in food can help your nails, taking them from dry and brittle to healthy and strong.

Foods that can improve your nails include:

Fruits especially blueberries, strawberries, and bananas (An easy nutritional boost, as well as for thicker, stronger tips).

Lean meats like turkey, chicken, and beef.

Salmon (Salmon is full of healthy fats and vitamins B6 and B12, which will keep nails from splitting, breaking and peeling).

Leafy greens like spinach, broccoli, and kale (to get nails back into fighting shape).

Other veggies including sweet potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, and bell peppers. (Vitamin C and Vitamin A, which provides necessary antioxidants to keep nails protected and strong).

Beans (Beans are packed with biotin, which is a proven powerhouse for nail health, helping them to grow longer and thicker in time).

Eggs (their protein content is crucial for strong finger nails).

Nuts especially almonds and sunflower seeds.

Whole grains (Brown rice and oats are an amazing source of biotin, silicon, mineral silica and cysteine, which are essential for healthy skin, hair and nails and will keep your nails in their healthiest state).

Beer, yes....beer. (beer is rich in silicon, which is proven to strengthen your bones and, in turn, your nails).

Milk (a great source of calcium and vitamin D).
