Acne is most common among teenagers and preteens being a cause of hormone changes, stress, diet and genetics. That’s why we are going to teach you how to heal acne and some of our favourite products to help acne. It always comes at the worst times, but you just have to deal with it. Drinking enough water, eating healthily and getting enough sleep always helps. Some people find cutting out dairy or oil can also help. If you wear makeup, make sure to check the ingredients. It can help if you get more natural and even oil-free products. You also need to make sure you're removing your makeup properly and generally avoiding putting harsh chemicals on your skin.

1. Spot treat with tea tree oil

Tea tree is known for its ability to fight bacteria and reduce skin inflammation. Several studies have found that applying tea tree oil to the skin can reduce acne. Tea tree oil is very potent, so dilute it before using it on your skin by mixing 1 part tea tree oil and 9 parts water. Dip a cotton swab into the mixture and apply it to the affected areas. Repeat 1-2 a day. We have tested this amongst our team and we have seen results.

2. Exfoliate regularly

Exfoliation removes the top layer of dead skin cells. Exfoliation may improve acne by removing the skin cells that clog pores. It may also make acne treatments more effective by allowing them to penetrate deeper. To exfoliate you can use chemicals or exfoliate mechanically by using a brush or scrub to remove the cells. Our top pick for an acne exfoliator is https://revuele.eu/products/face-care/cleansers/exfoliants/revuele-glycolic-acid/ for gentle chemical exfoliation being a glycolic-acid-based product.

4.Wash your face daily

Cleansing and treating your skin twice a day is the best way to keep breakouts away.

5. Regularly Change Your Face Towel

Using dirty towels can harbour bacteria, and they can even introduce new bacteria to your skin, which may lead to more pimples.

6. Change your diet

Fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidants and nutrients dampen inflammation and improve skin quality and limit your intake of dairy products, which can contain hormones and antibiotics that can worsen acne breakouts.

7. Drink Plenty of Water

drinking water improves your overall health.

8. Change Your Pillowcases

Unwashed sheets and pillowcases lead to cross-contamination which leads to pimples. Aim to wash your bedding once or twice a week to prevent bacteria from building up and affecting your complexion.

9. Ice Your Acne to Bring the Swelling Down

If you want to cotton-tipped something about your pimple ice can help reduce inflammation.

10. If You Must Pop a Pimple, Do It the Right Way

Even though every dermatologist ever will tell you not to pop, we get it: sometimes you just can't resist squeezing it, especially when it's ready to blow. Start with clean hands, use cotton-tipped applicators, and apply antibiotic ointment post-popping.

And some things can make your acne worse:

1. Don’t put toothpaste on your acne

we’ve heard that toothpaste can help dry out a zit, but this isn’t a solution for how to treat acne. In fact, applying toothpaste is more likely to cause irritation and dryness than treat the actual pimple. Instead, for an all-natural spot treatment, read step 1 about tea tree oil.

2. Try to Keep Your Hands Off Your Face

One of the most basic tips for how to get rid of acne is simply to keep your hands to yourself. Your hands aren’t always clean, and dirt under your fingernails and improper squeezing can cause acne to spread or lead to further infection.
