Being on YouTube has its UPS and Downs.
People seem to be even more honest online than they are in real life. This means you can get some pretty negative comments on your posts. It's easy to take these comments to heart and start overthinking everything you put up, or, in a worst-case scenario, deleting your channel or account altogether!
FRIENDS, WE BEG YOU, PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!!
Here are a few things to help you spot the difference between the haters - whose comments you should ignore, and the constructive criticism - which could actually help you!
HATERS

Haters' comments generally don't have a point, often they don't even relate to your video, they're just silly attacks written by people who don't have anything better to do. If it sounds like it's written or spelt by an eight-year-old, then my advice is- IGNORE IT!
Yeah sure, 'Donald Trumpet', i'll just 'go die in a whole'.
Don't let these illiterate, insensitive and pointless comments get you down. If you love what you're doing and what you're posting, then it doesn't matter what a couple of randos think. As the saying goes... Haters gonna hate, so let's be the playas and PLAY!
Constructive criticism

At first, constructive criticism can seem a lot like the haters' comments - it's annoying and can be brutal. 'Was this video meant to be funny?'...
OUCH! But after taking a deep breath, these comments can actually be quite helpful. Maybe there is something you can do to improve the quality of your videos, especially if you're just starting out online.
